Today Tuesday, December 2nd, 2014 Multiple Births Canada is proudly joining for our 2nd year the exciting movement called Giving Tuesday, a national day that celebrates the season of giving. To view a video explaining Giving Tuesday - click here.
While Black Friday and Cyber Monday have become two of the most well-known days for holiday shopping, Giving Tuesday (the Tuesday following Cyber Monday) aims to change the way Canadians think about the holiday giving season. Giving Tuesday will mark a national day dedicated to giving back to the communities where we live, work and play.
4 WAYS TO GIVE BACK THIS SEASON...
We hope you will take part in this national movement by taking a moment today to participate in one of the four ways listed above, in support of Multiple Births Canada.
Take a few minutes to read the following stories about why these individuals volunteer or donate with their local Chapters and/or donate with MBC.
With sincerest appreciation,
Kimberley Weatherall, Executive Director
How Will You Help?
Each year more than 12,000 multiple-birth babies are born in Canada. While multiple births represent just over 3% of all Canadian births, they account for 28% of all Canadian preterm births. Through your financial gift on Giving Tuesday you will make it possible for MBC to offer outreach, resources, support, services and education to multiple-birth individuals and families, as well as those professionals who support them.
Your donation on Giving Tuesday will help Multiple Births Canada:
