Higher Order Multiples Support Network

My kids

The Higher Order Multiples Support Network is for families with triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets or more. The HOM Support Network will provide:

  • support services to experienced, new and expectant families of triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets and more
  • experienced parent contacts across Canada (where possible)
  • Articles and family stories on the Multiple Moments magazine blog.
  • Conversations and advice from other parents of triplets, quads and quints in a private Facebook group

Have you just been told by your doctor that you're not only expecting more than one baby, but more than two? Are you feeling a range of emotions from "how will I manage with three or more babies?" to "how will my pregnancy progress?” If you are asking yourself those questions, you are not alone. With the incidence of higher order multiples (HOM) on the rise in recent years, more and more families are facing the unique challenges of prenatal care and parenting three or more children of the same age.

Multiple Births Canada's Higher Order Multiples (HOM) Support Network is made up of families who know what you are going through. Many of them have triplets, some have quadruplets or quintuplets, so they understand what you are facing and can help. The best way to prepare for the birth of any child is to equip yourself with as much information as possible. Our HOM Support Network has a range of publications available as well as experienced parent contacts across Canada to talk about your concerns and offer tips.

You are not alone; we're here to help. To join the Support Chair by email support@multiplebirthscanada.org.

Do you use Facebook?  Join the private "closed" Facebook group "MBC - Higher Order Multiples Support Network" to connect with many other families with triplets, quadruplets or quintuplets at every age and stage. http://www.facebook.com/groups/266840980047219 You do not have to be an MBC member to join this group
